Branham Lane and Branham High School were named after Isaac Branham, a successful farmer and lumber mill owner. He is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Branham High School first opened its doors in the Fall of 1967. Branham High School re-opened in August 1999. BHS celebrated the reopening during Homecoming in October 2000. Branham had been leased out to Valley Christian Schools since 1991.

The official school song sung to the melody of Edelweiss is printed below:

"Branham High
Branham High
Alma Mater we hail thee
Blue and White
Colors bright
Proud to wear them are we.
Proud in keeping our standards high
We shall strive forever
For Branham High
Branham High
Glorious Alma Mater."

San Jose Then and Now

Take a look at how San Jose looked back in 1975 versus how it looks now.  We have Pamela (Poor) Schuur from the Class of 1976 to thank for this. SanJose1975[1].pdf
