Branham Lane and Branham High School were named after Isaac Branham, a successful farmer and lumber mill owner. He is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Branham High School first opened its doors in the Fall of 1967. Branham High School re-opened in August 1999. BHS celebrated the reopening during Homecoming in October 2000. Branham had been leased out to Valley Christian Schools since 1991. California Distinguished School - In April, 2007 Branham was recognized as a California Distinguished School, a notable accomplishment that reflects several years of dedicated effort by the students, teachers, staff and the community. Way to go Branham! BHS Department of
Theatre Attention! Branham High School’s Musical Theatre Programme (UC approved) is looking for corporations who would be willing to make donations to sponsor Branham's Musical Theatre department’s participation in the National Performing Arts Festival in Florida. Their programme has been accepted into this very prestigious festival, and they are looking for corporate sponsors who can help raise the funds necessary to attend.
